This short-term missionary trip is packed with programs and activities that will be life-changing for you, as a missionary, as well as to the people you will meet. When we talk about making a difference, missionary life is what it is all about. Those who serve as missionaries know very well that there is nothing as fulfilling as serving God and serving man.
We will work closely with the locals to bring this program to areas that need them. Our goal is to unite in bringing fellowship, service, and God's word to everyone ready to receive it.
MISSIONARY TRAINING
There are so many behind-the-scenes preparation that comes with serving as missionaries overseas. One of the preparations we need to make is to be ready to serve with the right heart. Why is this important? Because missionary life is outreach. Missionary life is service. Missionary life is about changing lives.
Prior to the trip, missionaries are required to attend 2 missionary trainings. These trainings will help you gain cultural insights of the country and the locals we are going to minister. We will also learn the what-nots and what-to-do as a short term missionary. We will learn more about prayer and Bible study and gain some new skills. We will discover strengths and talents that we can use to serve the Lord together.
EVANGELISTIC MEETINGS
At the mission field, the team will hold a week of nightly meetings for evangelism with the help and assistance of our partners. These nightly meetings are an important part of the mission. We will facilitate registration, health lectures, music ministry, children's programs, and other community service activities.
HEALTH CLINICS/MEDICAL MISSION
With the help of the local health department, a free Medical Mission day will be held during the week. We also hope to set up portable health clinics in different locations during the day to help as many people as we can. If you are a healthcare professional you are encouraged to be a part of this endeavor.
CHILDREN'S PROGRAM
The children's programs will be done every night together with the evangelistic series. Our children's programs include music, arts and crafts classes, story-telling, and games.
VISITATIONS/BIBLE STUDY
Home visits will be led by lay ministers in-charge and will be supported by the missionaries. Visitations will include Bible studies, tracks distribution, and prayer missions.
BUILDING PROJECT
Home construction and rebuilding is part of the mission plan. Got skills? Let us know!
FEEDING PROGRAMS/FOOD DISTRIBUTION
One of the community services we do is the feeding program for the children. We hope to fellowship with the children and their families in the community. We will also do food distribution in the local community during the week.
